The Jr. Product Developer is responsible for assisting with the product creation process from initial concept, spec, through to commercialization and production for assigned models, and on time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, and sustainability, performance, and profitability goals. The Jr. Product Developer is an internal specialist in the specific category of Fila Heritage footwear development.



  • Sample management, including tracking/receiving/storing of all development, sms and confirmation samples.
  • Create and manage sample report for all of heritage.
  • Development of updated Heritage footwear.
  • Learn development of new Heritage footwear.
  • Showroom maintenance of samples and catalogs.
  • Handle requests by sales force for necessary samples out of the NYC office.
  • Assist with all sample requests for International partners.
  • Monitor all development and salesman samples for International partners.
  • ATS weekly reporting on all heritage inventory.
  • Monthly trend and color reports.
  • Assist with creating and editing seasonal catalogs.
  • Assist with Heritage catalogs requests and maintain catalogs in Heritage Showroom.
  • Monitoring in-line releases to make sure production is on time, along with communicating to all internal departments.
  • Weekly monitoring and reporting of CORE inventory levels.
  • Other duties may be assigned.



  • Required Four year degree from an accredited university with a focus fashion/footwear/retail/design
  • Career focused in product development, design, or engineering (Marketing and other focuses will not be considered)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently across multiple disciplines
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced creative environment and maintain productivity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Experience in assisting promotional events/activities a plus
  • Able to work with diverse teams
  • Industry knowledge of footwear or consumer soft goods is preferred
  • Ability to champion complex projects both cross functionally and vertically within the organization
