Overview

The Assistant Purchasing Coordinator will analyze reports and trends, and compile data. They will also assist the Purchasing team with daily tasks and special projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Review and enter production PO confirmed ship dates & factory information
  • Analyze and interpret reports and trends 
  • Enter system Cost Sheets
  • Audit system reports to ensure all information is updated and accurate (missing dates, costing, sizing issues, oversold styles, etc. ) 
  • Review POA repots to ensure product has been purchased to cover customer orders
  • and customer order & PO are booked in the appropriate warehouse
  • Monitor and track customer price tickets to ensure factories have received
  • Assist factories with UPC label transmissions
  • Set up of new factories in APPCON & GLMS systems 
  • Enter Fila Canada Transfer PO’s & transfer cost sheets 
  • Review 3PL OS&D reports and make necessary PO adjustments
  • Maintain Vendor Compliance Chargeback Spreadsheet
  • Assist Purchasing Coordinator with Purchase Order entry when needed
  • Other special projects as required

 

Qualifications

 

 • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
• 1-2 years of an Analytical background
• Previous experience in an office environment
• Fast-paced and heavy volume of workload
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and Multi-task
• Must be a quick learner, willing to accept direction and be flexible to assist others
• Excellent computer/system skills Required
• Proficient in Word, Excel
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Associates Degree or equivalent related experience Required
• Procurement experience
• AS/400 experience a plus
