    FILA North America is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Production to join the Physical Production team based in our New York offices in Times Square.

     

    Reporting to the Director of Physical Production and working in partnership with our Creative Directors, the Sr. Manager of Production will be responsible for the smooth running of our photography department. This role requires a strong organizer and excellent communicator who will manage the workflow of daily content creation across our B2B catalog content, EComm content, Social content and PR initiatives. 

     

    This is an exciting and varied role that requires a pro-active and capable individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment but can remain calm under pressure. You should have strong leadership skills, be able to enforce and influence deadlines, yet understand when there can be flexibility and command respect from all teams across FILA.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Manage the creative processes and production teams on a day to day basis, making sure they are working efficiently, to brief, deadlines and budget
    • Define briefs with stakeholders; agree objectives, direction, design specifications, timelines & budget
    • Plan for short and long terms creative requirements. 
    • Communicate closely with stakeholders to make sure all project elements are agreed and aligned.
    • Facilitate meetings across all stakeholders, ensuring progress is being made, that each channel is kept on track, redundancies across requests are minimized, deadlines are achieved, and the high quality expectations asked of by the business stakeholders are met
    • Identify any efficiency and process changes that can be improved in existing workflows to manage or redistribute resource where needed
    • Communicate any late delivery or major issues to stakeholders on behalf of the team, and work to create a resolve
    • Work closely with the Creative Director, Art Director and Stylists on the creative strategy and development of the brand
    • Liaise with in-house legal team on all usage and agreements and ensure the department is working in accordance with these.
    • Understand image usage and IP issues and keep close record of all photographer and model rights usage in a universal document for multiple teams to reference.
    • Own the management of spend for the production department. Responsible for submission and approvals of all invoicing, petty cash and expenses for full time and freelance employees.
    • Liaise closely with financial planning and the Creative Director to ensure team are working as cost efficiently and strategically as possible
    • Be point of contact with the leading agencies for all creative services including photographers and models.  Work with the Creative team to ensure contacts, expectations and processes are being managed appropriately and fairly
    • Encourage discovery of new artists/talent, agencies, and visual ideas to encourage innovation and evolution within the team's creative department
    • Carry out regular catch ups and annual reviews for the Production team.

    Qualifications

    • Solid experience as a Senior Manager, Creative Services lead
    • 5+ years of experience of producing, enforcing and managing budgets
    • Experience in leading and managing time pressured teams
    • Experience working to tight deadlines, while maintaining a proactive

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • A good understanding of editorial as well as the general retail environment
    • Excellent organization skills with an ability to manage a changing workload effectively to meet weekly deadlines
