  • Overview

    The Sales Associate will work closely with the Director, buyers, assistant buyers and the Fila team as it relates to order management.

    Responsibilities

    • High volume of communication with buyers, assistant buyers, Fila team members as it relates to daily order maintenance, issues and opportunities.
    • Review account open order report with CS (Customer Satisfaction) weekly or as necessary
    • Assist in showroom maintenance, sample and special make-up organization.
    • Maintain travel sample lines
    • Assist in samples and collateral preparation account presentations both in NY and at account locations
    • Participate in account meetings as necessary
    • Assist in coordinating F&B forms (Features & Benefit) for accounts through our product group
    • Coordinate shipment of samples to buyers via Customer Service or on your own from the NY Office
    • Manage and interpret daily, weekly and monthly customer sales reports
    • Build ATS (Available to Sell) spreadsheets as well as custom catalogs utilizing our internal programs Bynder and elastic
    • Become proficient with Fearless and APCON
    • Travel to accounts, trade shows and other Fila work locations as necessary
    • Specific account sales responsibilities to be rolled out over time
    • Communicate with the marketing team on account opportunities in and outside of store
    • Participate in internal product review meetings and identify opportunities based on account feedback or industry information
    • Process and track Special make-ups, and work with our logistics group to proactively build margin friendly product.
    • Willingness to learn about the industry, trends, consumer preferences, and identify current and future opportunities
    • Ability to problem solve, and think “outside the box.”
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 1 -3 year’s work experience in a sales, buying, consumer products or fashion related field.
    • Excellent attention to detail along with a high level of organization skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Understanding of retail analytics
    • Ability to multi task in a high paced work environment
    • Strong PC proficiency including Excel, Power point, Word
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
    • Strong entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
