  • Overview

    The Team Lead II is essential in accomplishing the daily activities of the Distribution Center.  This individual is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in establishing their subordinates clear understanding of their work responsibilities through effectively directing, motivating, evaluating, and coaching associates to attain the organizational and productivity goals.  This individual oversees the activities of the assigned associates and works side by side with them to effectively balance the workflow of the department and achieve operational goals per customer and business requirements. 


    • Effectively motivates and directs staff in order to achieve daily productivity goals as directed by the Supervisor
    • Assists Supervisor in coaching employees towards achievement
    • Provides feedback to Supervisor regarding associate performance
    • Professionally address or seeks counsel to resolve issues or concerns with associates
    • Assists Supervisor in giving directions to staff
    • Holds start up meetings and communicates clear and concise operational directives as work flows throughout the shift
    • Trains new associates and provides continuous training when directing staff in daily tasks
    • Interacts effectively with peers
    • Takes positive action to develop and maintain a respectful and professional work environment
    • Models exemplary behavior in following company rules and regulations, safety policies, and operational directives
    • Troubleshoots various problems and assists associates in navigating challenges
    • Updates and reviews daily reports and schedules
    • Provides clear and concise turnovers to ensure operational flow across shifts
    • Other Duties and Responsibilities as assigned


    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Operator experience required (Order Selector or equivalent)
    • Wire Guidance experience preferred
    • Experienced in leading small groups
    • Strong PC knowledge and Windows based software skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
    • Excellent organization and time management skills.
    • Effectively blend management skills with basic technical expertise.
    • Demonstrates highly sophisticated technical skills and strategic planning ability.
    • Proactive problem solver who takes initiative
    • Self-Motivated, team player
    • Ability to change directions quickly in a fast paced environment
