  • Overview

    The HR Administrator will support the Human Resources department with day-to-day tasks. The role will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external clients. Main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding paperwork) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can handle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. Ensure the HR department supports Fila employees while conforming to labor laws.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as a resource for employees with day to day HR needs (i.e. update forms, provide appropriate forms etc.)
    • Weekly payroll processing for weekly and semi-monthly employees
    • Benefit invoice review and processing
    • Update Applicant Tracking Database (enter open positions and close filled positions)
    • New Hire Processing (monitor and ensure processing of all new hire paperwork through system
    • Support recruitment process by scheduling interviews and processing pre-employment screenings
    • Employee Time and Attendance corrections
    • Handle/facilitate employee orders and send orders to appropriate dept. for processing
    • Human Resource filing and shredding
    • Responsible for maintaining offsite filing storage
    • Complete employment verification requests and send wage garnishments to payroll vendor for processing
    • Assist with employee engagement activities
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High School or GED Required
    • Associates Degree accepted. Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Management or Business Administration
    • 1-3 years Human Resources and/or Administrative experience
    • Ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can handle various administrative tasks in a timely manner
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Must remain highly confidential
    • Understanding of urgency and able to prioritize accordingly
