Role Overview

 

FILA North America is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing Marketing team based in New York. The Social Media Manager role will report to the Director of Social Media and Influencer Marketing and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the FILA USA community across all social media channels.

 

 

Hybrid: Four (4) days per week in-office, One (1) day remote

Responsibilities

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Help design and implement social media strategy for @filausa social media accounts. Current platforms include TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and YouTube, with opportunity to expand. 
  • Manage and maintain daily social media calendars for @filausa accounts 
  • Monitor @filausa social media channels and support our social listening and community management strategy (respond to comments, questions, requests, customer services inquiries) and generate reports tracking key engagements 
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to help develop social media strategies and tactics for brand campaigns, product releases and other goals/KPIs  
  • Work with various internal and external teams to help ideate, curate and request relevant assets needed to execute social strategy (text, image, video and graphic posts) 
  • Assist Director of Social Media in ensuring milestones are met; compile reports with relevant stats and metrics and provide suggestions for improvements 
  • Identify/stay on the pulse of emerging social media trends and platform updates 
  • Collaborate with additional Fila social teams on crossover content/support 
  • Provide social support/coverage at organized events and activations  
  • Collaborate with agencies, PR & Corporate Communications team members to identify influencers/content creators for digital campaigns, including potential facilitation of briefs and contracts  
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • BA in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or other related field 
  • Passion for and working knowledge of social media marketing trends and techniques  
  • At least 3+ years experience managing social media platforms at brand or agency; experience working with lifestyle brands a plus  
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills; copywriting experience a plus 
  • Experience creating content tailored for social media platforms  
  • Experience working with social media management platforms a plus   
  • Intermediate to advanced Adobe Design Suite (or other design platforms) skills a plus  
  • Knowledge and/or passion of sneaker, apparel, and fashion worlds preferred  
  • Willingness and interest in traveling to relevant brand events domestically as needed  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team 

 

Salary Range $75k-$85k

 

*At FILA USA, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
